Getting here
Public transport: Take matatu (minibus) n° 106 or 108;Get down at the UNEP stop, off Limuru Road. Walk about 200m along UN Avenue to the main entrance of the UNON complex, across the road from the US Embassy.
Taxi & ride hailing: There are an abundance of taxis in Nairobi and several ride hailing applications. UNON also offers a digital request for taxi services for UN authorized personnel.
By car: On Limuru Road, turn onto UN Avenue and drive about 200m to the visitors' car park at the main entrance of the UNON complex, across the road from the US Embassy. Please note parking space is limited and the visitors’ car park can reach full capacity early in the day. Parking is on a first come, first served basis.


The setting
The UNON complex is set on 140 acres of landscaped gardens and woodland, bordered by the lively Gigiri district on one side and Karura Forest on the other. A unique setting with plenty to offer.
Cafes and restaurants
Four restaurants, eight coffee stations and tailored catering services, all proposing meals and snacks for a variety of tastes, and indoor and outdoor dining.


Accessibility
The United Nations Office Nairobi continues to work to upgrade the UN Gigiri complex to acceptable international standards and to provide equitable accessibility.
