The Division of Conference Services is part of the Department for General Assembly and Conference Management (DGACM), the largest department in the United Nations Secretariat, whose work plays an indispensable role in enabling the United Nations to fulfill its purpose as an effective international forum for multilateral cooperation. 

Our mission to facilitate and enhance dialogue among Member States places us at the heart of the United Nations’ role as an international forum for Member States to deliberate on and propose answers to the major questions facing the world.

We are meeting planners, conference officers, interpreters, translators, editors, report writers, text processors, graphic designers, printers, IT and audiovisual technicians, and administrative staff, all working together behind the scenes to contribute to the realization of the objectives of the United Nations and of the Sustainable Development Goals.

Based in Nairobi, Kenya, at the third largest United Nations duty station, we come from different cultural and geographical backgrounds and have a range of professional skill sets and experiences.
