Enjoy the wide range of amenities available at Gigiri, from a recreation centre with state-of-the-art gym, to medical services and a gift shop for your convenience.
The UNON compound has some unique natural habitats as well as constructed wetlands and a biodiversity ‘arboretum’ of indigenous trees at the southern end of the compound. Add in the varieties of wildlife and plant life that you can spot within the grounds and attending your conference sessions can become a daily journey into nature.
Our state-of-the-art recreation centre with a well-equipped gym, swimming pool, tennis and squash courts, and even a full-sized football pitch are a result of UNON’s continued focus on improved facilities and wellbeing for its staff and meeting delegates.
The nature trail at the southern end of the compound doubles as a jogging track and the paved footpaths along the perimeter fence of the compound are ideal for walking.
Getting around the vast UNON complex is easy with UN bikes. You will find these bicycles with their orange-trimmed wheels stationed at various points around the grounds, including near the entrance. This free bike-sharing scheme was introduced by UNON in 2018 exclusively for use inside the complex and can be used by staff and visitors alike.
