Division Of Conference Services.

Welcome to Kenya and to the Division of Conference Services of the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON). The Division of Conference Services (DCS) is also part of the Department of General Assembly and Conference Management (DGACM) at UN Headquarters, New York. Since its Inception in 1996, DCS has been providing conference and meeting facilities within and also servicing of meetings externally. With 14 Conference Rooms of international standard, supported by dedicated UN personnel, sophisticated Conference Equipment and other facilities, DCS is geared towards catering to the needs of every kind of client, providing services for minor to major conference events, in addition to providing the conference facility, DCS also offers a wide array of other Conference Services hand-in-hand with the meeting. Such may include Publishing Services, Translation, and Interpretation etc. Of great importance to the type of meeting, the conference rooms are equipped to cater for extra services, e.g. Projection, Voting etc. In addition to the conference rooms, DCS also, upon the clients request, acomodates Exhibitions.The conference facilities have in the past and present been undergoing thorough extensive renovation. The renovation includes new interpretation equipment, refurbished furniture, CCTV cameras, new screens, projectors and a long list of detailed equipment that is required to serve conferences at UNON Nairobi.
